Occasionally there is hay left over to sell. The pastures are planted in 39 acres of lush Orchard Grass for grazing or hay production in addition to 11 acres of Triticale. The current owner increases the carrying capacity by supplementing with free spent brewer’s grain from a local brewery.

Throughout the grazing lease areas, the cattle are watered in four different pastures with abundant water including three year round streams, four wells (run by electricity) and twelve drinkers.
